I do get sweaty and yucky, guar-ron-teed, so wearing work clothes is not an option if I want to be comfortable and not offend. I pack a wash cloth and towel, a change of clothes and shoes, and spread out my jersey and shorts and towel in my cubicle to dry. (I also have to carry my computer and some papers, adding a couple of pounds.)

I do Bike to Work Day once a year for fun and a bit of camaraderie. But it’s quite a production and a much longer day, so not really an everyday option.

If you’ve got more than 5 shirts then keep them all at work and rotate through them, getting them laundered at a nearby dry cleaners. You also get the HUGE benefit of never having to iron a shirt for work ever again!
All you need to take in to work is a pair of underpants (under shorts) in your jersey pocket and the socks you are already wearing – everything else will be waiting for you next door to your work place.
