I wish I had pics, but…when the kids were small I would ride with them to a nearby garden centre, get the tree and stick it in a tree stand attached solidly to my trailer. Finish with some battery powered lights, a few ornaments and we had our own Christmas parade!!

Thanks for the very helpful article! I was wondering what to do this year because normally we wait until a snowstorm and then pull the tree home on a sled, but we are sadly lacking in snow this year. Another idea for bringing the tree home is to place it along the full length of the bike, and then just walk the bike home. A little slower, but it beats carrying it all the way!
